Tomorrow's People – Flower Delivery Terms & Conditions (UK)
Introduction
Welcome to Tomorrow's People, your dedicated local florist for Tomorrow’s People and the surrounding areas. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our online store and set out the basis for purchasing flowers and related products for delivery across our service regions. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully prior to making a purchase.
Scope of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers ordering flower arrangements and associated products from Tomorrow's People, for delivery within Tomorrow’s People and to neighbouring communities serviced by our online delivery platform. Any references to "we", "us", or "our" relate to Tomorrow’s People, and references to "you" or "your" mean the customer placing an order.
Order Process
Placing an Order: To order flowers or related products via our website, choose items from our catalogue, add them to your basket, and follow the checkout instructions. You will be required to provide accurate recipient details, delivery address, contact information, and (where necessary) any specific delivery notes or requests. Please review all details prior to confirming your order.
Confirmation: Upon successful placement, you will receive an on-screen order confirmation and an automated confirmation message to the contact details you provided. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order; it is a notification that we have received it.
Order Acceptance: Acceptance of your order and formation of the contract occurs only when payment has been processed, and we have dispatched a confirmation of processing. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons including (but not limited to) product availability, incorrect information, suspected fraudulent activity, or delivery constraints.
Product Availability
All flowers and products are subject to seasonal availability. Product images and descriptions are provided for guidance. Substitutions may occasionally be necessary to ensure your order is delivered on time. If substitution is required, we will endeavour to retain the style, quality, value, and colour scheme of your selected arrangement. We reserve the right to replace unavailable products without notice in accordance with industry best practice. If a significant substitution is needed, we will try to contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Delivery Policy
We deliver to Tomorrow’s People and surrounding areas as specified on the delivery section of our website. Delivery dates and timeframes are guidelines only and, while we strive to meet your requested date, we cannot guarantee specific times. During peak periods (such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas), deliveries may be affected by order volume.
It is your responsibility to ensure all recipient details and delivery information are accurate. If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete information, additional delivery charges may apply. Should the recipient be unavailable at the time of delivery, our driver may leave the flowers with a neighbour or in a safe location, leaving written notification for the recipient where feasible.
Should severe weather, road closures, or unforeseen issues prevent timely delivery, we will inform you as soon as possible and arrange for delivery at the earliest opportunity.
Payments
We accept payment by the methods listed at checkout (for example, major credit and debit cards). Payments are processed securely, and your order will only be confirmed once the transaction has been authorised and cleared. All prices are displayed in GBP and include any applicable VAT unless otherwise indicated.
Goods remain our property until full payment is received. If payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and recover any delivered items at your expense. You confirm that the payment method used is yours or that you have full authorisation to use it.
Order Amendments and Cancellations
Amendments: If you wish to change your order, including recipient information, delivery date, or arrangement details, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but amendments may not be possible if your order has already been processed or dispatched.
Cancellations: As fresh flowers are natural and perishable goods, cancellation is only possible if requested before your order has been prepared or dispatched. Once preparation or delivery has commenced, cancellations cannot be accepted. To request a cancellation, contact us promptly with your order reference and details.
Right to Cancel: Under UK consumer law, your right to cancel may not apply to perishable goods like flowers that are made to order. Non-perishable goods (such as vases and gifts) may be cancelled within 14 days of delivery, provided they are returned unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the items are faulty or incorrect.
Refunds and Returns Policy
We take great pride in our products and service. If you are dissatisfied with your flowers or another item, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery, providing photographs and a detailed description. We may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund at our discretion, depending on the nature of the complaint and supporting evidence. Non-perishable items may be returned, as above, subject to inspection.
Refunds will be processed via the original payment method and may take up to 7 working days to appear, depending on your card provider. Delivery costs are refunded only where an order has been cancelled in full or where items are faulty or incorrect.
Liability
We are liable only for direct losses arising from our negligence or breach of contract up to the value of your order. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, nor for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, transport disruptions).
It is your responsibility to ensure correct delivery details are supplied. We cannot accept liability for delayed, lost, or undelivered items due to incorrect information provided by you. If you believe a product is defective or not as described, contact us as soon as possible so that we may investigate and resolve the matter.
Our commitment is to ensure that orders are fulfilled to a high standard of quality and accuracy, however, as fresh flowers are natural products, some variation is inevitable. We strive to represent flowers and arrangements as accurately as possible, but colours, sizes, and exact appearance may differ from digital images.
Personal Information & Privacy
We treat your information in accordance with UK data protection laws. We use your personal details to process orders, deliver products, and communicate with you regarding your purchase. Your information may be shared with third parties essential to fulfilling your order (such as delivery partners), but will never be sold or used for unrelated marketing without your express consent. For further detail, refer to our Privacy Policy available on our website.

Changes to These Terms
Tomorrow's People reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately. Continued use of our service after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
